Canyon de Chelly National Monument June 2007 — The White House Overlook Trail In June 2007, Chris, Lisa, and Kellisa visited Canyon de Chelly National Monument in northeastern Arizona, a place where immense sandstone cliffs, ancient canyon walls, and centuries of human history come together in one of the Southwest's most remarkable landscapes. For the family, the visit became much more than a scenic stop.
